Abstract

When my colleague, Michael Campbell, announced he was going to return to the US, the current issue of /AAS was in the pangs of making. At the same time, Eike Mueller, the associate editor was entrusted new administrative responsibilities, while Alvaro Rodriguez, the assistant editor, also returned to his native country. This situation created the need for appointing a new editorial team. Unfortunately, the process took longer than expected. We apologize to our subscribers and readers for the gap in the regular publishing of JAAS. I am glad to announce that the new editorial team is in place and the printing of the current issue is the sign of return to the normal editorial and publishing process. We invite you to write and share your expertise in this journal. Stay tuned for the news and the new contributions to scholarship in /AAS.
