Strategic Planning – The Basic Steps
Abstract
Strategic planning is an effective management tool that
enables an organization to match its abilities with environmental opportunities at
a point of optimal equilibrium. The analytic approach to planning must blend with
the synthetic task of management. Strategy is a dynamic, continuous, and cyclical
process. Feedback from implementation, evaluation or control necessitates plan
revisions or renewal.
